We were very defensive tonight thank goodness that wonder goal went in - even after that we sat back a good team performance in midfield working hard we sat back far too much imo Rooney and Sig with his goal and our keeper kept them at bay the rest were average !

Harsh......

C'mon mate. We had by far the hardest group last time out and won that at a canter. We played the kids in our final game knowing the group was already in the bag.

There's nobody in groups 3 and 4 to be overly worried about and only 3 or 4 in the top group that I'd particularly want to avoid. In fact, I'd put money on those same teams looking to avoid us.

I fully expect us to get out the group. That was my point.

Great night made better for me cause I had one red fan in my bar. He said two things all night, half time gilfi is never a 45 mil player que the goal. And when the pen was given .right lets see. how much you pay for this keeper love it

Who the hell keeps voting for Schneiderlin in these things???

No just kidding I wouldn't want to name and shame but he's so far off his game even he's forgotten how good he can be.

I had to say Gylfi if only for that goal. But I could also have said Rooney, Pickford, Baines, Schneids, Martina, DCL or most of the team. Hajduk played their hearts out and only managed to pull one back with a wonder goal. The last 15 minutes of possession football showed what control Everton are capable of. A good effort all round.

I can count the amount of times Siggy lost possession on one hand and the goal was spectacular (ntm he created it himself). He was close to flawless tonight.
