I think in a lot of games we will ditch the 2nd defensive mid and instead have a striker up top, Mirallas or Lookman on the left, Rooney on the right, and Klaassen and Sigurdson in the middle behind the striker.

I'm worried koeman gonna play

Future target man
Klaassen Rooney Siggy

No pace no width we're gonna be hard to beat this season but we really need sort out our balance no fluidity to our attacks

As we stand now

--------------------Sandro---------------
Gylfi---------------Rooney----------Klaassen
----------Schneids/Davies---Gana-----------
Baines-------Jags-----------Keane----Holgate/Martina/Kenny
-------------------Pickford--------------------

DCL, Lookman, Mirallas, Williams, Mori, Besic, McCarthy, Barkley, Stek,

Will look so much better with a couple more quality additions and the return of Coleman and Bolasie.

That's 25 players in total though so still a few to be swapped / sacrificed in the remainder of the window.

If we're playing 4 at the back, I would still like to see at least 2 out of DCL, Sandro, Mirallas & Lookman on the pitch to stretch the opposition. Happy with Rooney & Gylfi playing at no.10 and on the left for now.

We are 1 CF away from being a quality Premier League side. We WILL get one in before the end of the window, but I would like to see DCL given more games as a CF as well. Costa on loan anybody?

Be interesting to see if Glyfi can get something going with Baines on the left. He's a clever footballer.

Wazza No. 10. If we chasing the game Wazza drops deeper, Glyfi .10 get Kev or Lookman wide left.

i know this is controversial but it might be worth considering selling klassen while his stock is still high as from early signs hes no better than Naismith was. In fact Naismith probably was more effective. Early days yes, but ive seen nothing so far to suggest he has top 4 premier league ability
