Having a few pints last night with the lads when a well known sports presenter came in to watch the RS with his dad
This lad would regularly be on TV with well known retired premier league footballers and ex managers
His dad is a blue and he supports Manure.
We all got chatting and his take on Everton's transfer business from talking to the professionals is this.
Everton knew Rom was going months ago and to whom and for how much.
This ties in with Roms statement that staying was not an option and why Chelsea never bid.
Looks like his agent and Pogba had the deal sorted with Manure
United wanted Morata as back up but knew he wouldn't come if Rom was signed as he wanted to be first choice , hence United bidding for Morata before announcing Rom
When Morata wouldn't come and Everton gave the go ahead deal was announced.
Tony Pulis amongst others said Everton would spend big so they had an inkling of what was going on.
Don't forget Rom has friends at West Brom from his time there
We knew we had the Lukaku money coming and deals for Keane Pickford Klassen Sandro and Siggy were agreed well before the season ended and before the Rom deal was announced so we wouldn't get fleeced on prices.
Siggy deal was agreed with Swansea but the Americans vetoed it when they seen the money floating around.
Clement knew the situation and had his targets picked out and is really pissed off with the delay.
Everton were not going to be bullied and threatened to pull out over the price rise.
Only Koeman wanting him so much made Mosh get the deal done.
Barkley is going to Spurs but they want him cheap and Barkley fancies CL and playing at Wembley and he doesn't get on with Koeman

Think the people disappointed about Jese can file it in their disappointed not going for Shaqiri, Berahino, Afellay, Bojan, Imbula, Arnautovic bin. Absolute graveyard they've got there - Loads of CL winners though so nailed on for the title now are Stoke.
