In my opinion, yes - it's my favourite film. The quotes above merely scratch the surface. While it is very quotable, it's much more than that - quirky writing, great acting. It's only 100 minutes long - give it a go!

It is, and could have been more so if Bruce Robinson had stuck to his original ending. This would have seen Withnail pouring the Margaux into the barrel of a shotgun before then putting it in his mouth and pulling the trigger, but it was considered to be too dark.
