Klaasen never runs with the ball he didn't at Ajax and he wont here. Don't expect it.

Having to watch Rooney fall over and under/over hit passes for a season is a crime against humanity.

he's been one of our better players here in fairness.

Is Klaasen back from his hols yet. I was hoping to see him play in pre-season.


Must have averaged 3 touches per 45 mins in preseason. Frustratingly there quite decent ones when he does touch it.

We've looked well organised against a good Sevilla side here but again we're not doing enough with the ball when we have it. Good move and great finish by Sandro for the goal though you could tell that we caught them completely cold.

We've looked solid at the back mate, biggest problem is how easily they're cut through us in the middle of the park.

Pickford and Keane are going to be my faves this season. We need about 2 decent signings and a worldie and I would be happy. Keep Barkley and we only need a CF.

He doesn't fit the system. All sideways, not one of our players is direct. All look backwards 90% of the time.

Unfortunately, when the ball comes into the positions where Klassen can touch it and be effective, there's at least 7 other Everton players battling for the same ball.
