Player's prerogative no way should it have been ultimatums or made public - not the everton way ok!
if he is awkward you sell then explain why!
Barkley should not stay silent though. The club will sell him.

The Manager whose loyalty to any club last approximately 3 years/ he pledged his loyalty to southampton , and joined us!Yes and it's the manager who makes decisions who he wants at the club. He wants Barkley here, hence why he was offered a new contract and he will be sold if he doesn't sign one.

Total different era total different situation. The great Alan ball was silent mate he was just sold end of!
Always believed he needed the signing on fee for debts ?The real reason for that sale has never really been explained has it? Plenty of theories, but iirc, no definitive single reason.
I take it your not a fan of koeman judging by those comments. Whether he's here 3 months or 3 years, he still has to make footballing decisions, hopefully to the benefit of the club. Ross Barkley is not being treated any differently to the vast majority of footballers, who if they don't sign a new contract going into the last 12 months of their contracts, then they will be sold. Lukaku could well be in the same position next summer, the difference, where he was offered a new contract a lot earlier than Ross. The Manager whose loyalty to any club last approximately 3 years/ he pledged his loyalty to southampton , and joined us!
The pot calling the kettle black me thinks!

Mad money involved.
Ok name me any Everton player given by any manager publicly on Sky pre match dropping the player to sign a contract?your bias is clouding your judgement I feel...Koeman has never mentioned anything about loyalty to Barkley...he has simply stated Everton can't afford to wait on him and risk losing him for nothing... check your facts
