I think he is trying to run his contract down too... just my opinion. If he doesn't leave and refuses to sign... i would honestly put him with the U23 for the entire season

It's not your opinion, it's your agenda.
That's just too daft!

I reckon he will run his contract down if he needs too... in order to get the move he thinks he will... that's an opionion not my agenda... and so far he hasn't signed has he? Why would I have an agenda against him? I would love him to do well... I just don't rate him and I believe he would rather run his contract down to get a Spurs move or similar ... rather than sign this summer for westham or the skunks

I dunno mate, search your posts in this thread and you'll see how many you have posted, it does seem a bit extreme?
Spurs, WHU or NU this summer, you decide?
Or maybe, still us?

It's not an agenda just because I don't think he's the second coming of Christ .... I said he doesn't work hard enough in the past (and he didn't) I say I didn't rate him... and now my opinion on his contract is that he won't stay for whatever reason... and I think he would rather run his contract down than sign for westham or similar this summer. No agenda ... just opinion. Some of the people on here think the sun shines out of his arse . That's their opionion, and some think he will stay... but saying I have an agenda (plz tell me what it is btw) is incorrect

A massive point in his career, personally would like him to knuckle down stay and now really fight for his place, with all the players being linked looks like he will not be guaranteed a start or he moves on.
Be very interesting to see how this plays out over the next few weeks.

You may be correct that to some extent he's willingly running his contract down as it would certainly negate any large fee we'd be demanding.

On the other hand, running down his contract has it's own sizeable pitfalls: will other clubs be willing to wait? Will they not look elsewhere?

Equally, Koeman has already shown that he's more than willing to play hard ball so that could have a detrimental affect on his career.

It's in both ours and his interest to get this situation sorted as soon as possible, be that he stays (and signs a new deal) or moves on to elsewhere.

If he refuses to sign or leaves, let him train on his own and give zero gametime not even u23 matches.

swap for lanzini at west ham!
someone in the the pub last night mentioned a swap for robertson at hull but im not sure if ross is worth that much!
