He may well turn out a great player but he's 25 and has shown nothing up to this season so it's a gamble to say the least, especially for those of us who remember Michael Rickets having a stormer of a season at Bolton in the early 2000's before someone swapped his legs back for 2 left feetJosh King for me. The kid is gonna be a star

Leeds United[edit]
In June 2004, he signed for Championship side Leeds United on a free transfer. Ricketts impressed with his mad skills, but failed to score in 25 league appearances due to the incompetence of his teammates, he did manage a solitary goal in the League Cup against Swindon Town.[7]
