I hope we sign Keane. I hope Mori doesn't leave. I hope Galloway is at least on the subs option cos he's quality.

In that case it would be between Keane, Williams, Mori and Jagielka as cb's, Holgate as right-back and desperate c/b cover, Galloway as left-back and desperate c/b cover, and Jagielka around too depending on form, injuries and suspensions. We'd be very strong in that area with just one calculated CB signing like Keane.

I don't want Jagielka to leave and think he will get games if he stays. But if I had to choose between Mori and Jagielka leaving, I would let Jagielka go, especially if he wants a part of the England team next summer, I'd let him go on a free for his service, and hope he gets a role at the club after his playing career is over.

Mori is a £15-25m asset, even if some people think he's rubbish, he's not. He will fight for his place. It could well be Keane - Mori or Williams - Mori that start next season as first-choice, with the others like Holgate/Jagielka as backup.

Pennington if any out of the ones you mentioned should be loaned out. Browning should be training with the first-team I hope, I really rate his physique, pace, and versatility.

You really need to stop this mate, I don't get it.

Tbh I'd let both Jags & Mori go and bring in both Keane & Lemos. We need to freshen the whole team/squad up. Get Keane in to partner Williams and have Lemos and Holgate as back up, competition...
Fine by me. I don't know anything about Lemos other than what's been written though. No idea if he's an upgrade on Funes or not.

start getting it. We stole a march on lots of clubs and attracted him to Everton from a classic club like River Plate for £9-11m. He is absolutely in the Argentinian national team, has plenty of football left in him having only made 127 club appearances in his career, is a left-footed, aggressive centre-back/left-back who scores goals. Don't let the team's rubbish in Martinez's last two seasons fool you mate. If we sell him this summer I guarantee you we will get £15m and more. He's only 26 don't write him off. Superb, passionate player. Koeman will likely keep him and get the best out of him.

Problem with that is, if Keane gets injured, we are left with the same defenders as the previous season.
With jags and Williams being a year older. And that defence got destroyed by the top teams last season.

I hope we get Keane, but should also be looking to bring in another top centre back, aged 26 to 29?

oh ok. funny you are really you are. If you think Mori is not worth £15m+ at least in this transfer market you have on cluie about footy blulouie. thanks for you contribuie though.

you and mike the football experts who think we'll be lucky to get £5m for him. funnie, bluelouie. we'll see who is correct.

Mori was dropped despite Jags doing his best 1 legged impression earlier on in the season.

He has ZERO future at this club, wave him goodbye frandel.

Disagree frandel. Koeman knows players, his knowledge is vast, he knew Everton and how well Jags had done in his Everton career and knew he was part of the England set-up. He started and played Jagielka in 9 league matches together with his signing Williams (understandable) and we were unbeaten in 7 out of those 9 first league games. After a 2-1 loss at Burnley he decided to rotate and be nice to Mori who he also rates too. Simple as that. He won't be pushing Mori out of the club. Mori waves hello.

He'll be getting rid of any 2 out of the 3 if he's any sense and replacing them with upgrades. Would prefer all 3 to go but not realistic

We do need over 7 players, Imagine having Lyon away on Thursday then Chelsea on Sunday.. Barry and Martina shouldn't even be anywhere near the level of backup players. That's why we cant be blowing 25 Mil on Keane as well be left short unless we are planning on spending 150 Mil witch won't happen.
