...programme starts 8.15am tomorrow morning on Eurosport featuring the England v Argentina U20 game. I can watch it whilst picking my horses out of the Racing Post.
Whay impressed me with the goal, was his movement away from the area anticipating where the ball will go. Made time and space for himself - and what a strike.Get him in the first team now Ronnie.

RK is rumoured to be searching for another LB so it'll be interesting where Connolly fits. The lads got a bit of everything , right foot, left foot, scores goals , reasonable defence, it's just whether he's got enough to be a PL player . I thought he did ok in the televised Wigan v Utd cup game , but got battered out of the way by Fellaini when he scored. Poor positioning and not enough strength shown , but then again Fellaini has battered many experienced defenders out of the way to score at the back post.
Get him in the first team now Ronnie.

I'll be interested to see if any of the reported youth targets sign for us. We've had reports of interest in George Hirst of Sheffield Wednesday and Brennan Johnson of Nottingham Forest. I've also seen some stuff on twitter about interest in another England youth player who plays in the west midlands (not going to name him in case it gets anyone into trouble!).
Only about 1 in 10 of these signings actually come off (see Liverpool academy over the past 15 years) but if it plugs gaps in our academy team it must be worth trying.
..Hirst is very impressive. Not sure if Wednesday losing in the play offs is a good or bad thing for him.
Well if you ask yourself how many scousers are playing in the premiership at the moment you would have some idea
As you say it's a dream but you could have a team with at least 60% local lads.
May not win a lot but would certainly compete. What struck me in that article was the loyalty of the players to the club
Something not seen a lot in England these days.
1. Adam Davies (Barnsley)
2. Jon Flanagan (Burnley)
3. Leighton Baines (Everton)
4. Tom Davies (Everton)
5. Scott Dann (Palace)
6.
7. Trent Alexander Arnold (Liverpool)
8. Ross Barkley (Everton
9. Victor Anichebe (Sunderland)
10. Wayne Rooney (Man Utd)
11. Adam Forshaw (Boro)
Couldnt think of another centre back, Aaron Cresswell unlucky Leighton Baines has his position
..Clint Hill plays in the Scottish Premiership, he might do.
rodwell?
..Liam Walsh nominated for PL2 Player of the Season award;

I notice he's the only Everton player on the list. Be great for the lad if he wins it.
has Walsh ever got much action on the international stage? Many on here seem to think he's potentially our best prospect, but I never seem to hear about him being called up, which seems odd.
