I dont think he will move abroad, we will have to find a newly promoted PL team or possibly a Championship team if he's willing to drop a division but then we would have to cover a portion of his wages.

He was a Martinez signing because he was the manager at the time. If you are suggesting Niasse was signed against Roberto's decision, then more fool for Martinez allowing his reputation to be destroyed by a signing he did not vouch for. Either way he looks naive.
This manager now says he has 'nothing to do with transfers'.

That's not true now is it Dave.

Ronald Koeman has revealed he doesn't have full control of over Everton's summer signings.

Yet far from throwing a tantrum and using his perceived weakness to engineer a route out of the club that leads to the Nou Camp, the Blues boss insists he's happy with the situation because it is in the best interests of the club.

Koeman has been linked strongly with the Barcelona manager's position that will become vacant in the summer...but despite dreaming of a return one day, he has bluntly stated he will see out the two years on his Goodison contract.

And he will do that without having the ultimate say on signings, because he believes in a different model, which gives Director of Football Steve Walsh an important voice.

"Full control no, I can not control all the players I want!" he said of his role.

"Ok we speak about players who will make the team stronger, and it is already last week (I said) we need more players and more scoring players than we have at moment.

"But always the position of the manager is not most of the time it is not a long term position, because most of the time football changes. What happened to Wenger, Ferguson is an exception in football.

"And that's what I like in the function of Steve Walsh in the club, because yes, he is for the long term and sometimes he is looking for young players who are not first team players.

"That is his function, my function is to win every weekend, but if I can help the club by giving chances to young players I will. But first of all what we need is a strong team for next season. Of course, we need to have agreement but we know exactly what we like and what we need for the first team."

Not a Martinez signing. I thought I'd cleared that up?

Lukaku was though.
Remind me how it works in your universe again ?
Roberto's rein:
Anything good it's down to him.
Anything bad it's someone else.
Ronald's rein:
Anything good it's a carry over from Roberto's rein.
Anything bad it's down to him.

Oh and any decision made by anyone at Everton is automatically terrible. Unless it can be linked however tenuously to Reberto in which case it's good.

would that about cover it ?

That's not true now is it Dave.

It's always 'we' when he speaks of incomings.

And Walsh is there to muddy the waters on signings. f that isn't so then maybe you can clearly point to those you feel Koeman made outside of Schneiderlin and those who Walsh was responsible for.

Oumar will be back out on loan.

Could see one of the promoted teams being interested.

Proven PL goal scorers are hard to come by.

Not got enough quality for us, but at least we should make the large sum back that we paid for him
