I have no idea what S'ton would be playing at if they did that. They're a no mark club and a feller who comes in and gives them some decent footy to watch, a Wembley final and mid-table safety should be tied down to a longer contract.

Maybe it's the manager's agent trying to get some interest going and it's actually Puel who doesn't fancy staying with them? Nothing would surprise me.

If I was everton then Romagnoli, Donnarumma, Locatelli and Bonaventura are the only ones I would get excited about. De Sciglio is okay.

what do you think has happened with Bacca over there? every time I've seen him he's looked dreadful. Do you think the style of footy just isn't suited to him?

Their fans want him sacked - as for this decent footy, maybe go register on a saints forum Dave and tell them how they are all wrong?

Rumour is that they want Marco Silva from Hull.

Rumours at our end are that Grayson wants to bring Browning back for another loan for a whole season. He is desperate to re-sign McGeady to who has been outstanding. One of the best players in the league.

On Browning - he did okay when he first joined. Still looked like he was playing catch up with fitness. Got injured, had to be thrown back in early due to other injuries and looked [Poor language removed]. He isn't a right back by the way, looks dreadful though, could be a decent centre back through IMO.

He needs a season loan. Not a season in the reserves or on the periphery at Everton hardly playing, then moving in January again and playing catch up with fitness again. He needs to go somewhere, probably back to North End, for a full pre-season and 40+ games. Only then will he progress.
