Completely agree with the bolded statement. I didn't call him a belter because he wants out though, but rather because he has shown a lack of respect towards the club and the fans throughout his stay. I accept players are ambitious but there is no excuse for consistently producing soundbites about wanting to be somewhere else.
 

I hate how the media push and push for players to leave to join a select few clubs in the country, and then celebrate the 'competitiveness' of the Premier League.

Maybe if you didn't angle for players to be leaving clubs constantly, we could have many more shocks and surprises competing for honours.

Can't wait to get our new stadium and put us on level playing field with the rest.

I dont think he has been though. He's been honest and objective about the relationship. He hasn't tried to pretend he's a fan or that the club couldn't fulfil his ambitions to win a trophy at least.

I'm not particularly grateful to him. He's been fantastic but he's been given a team to work around him and service his requirements all the way through his time here.

He did well by us and we have to do well by him...and that means letting him go to fulfil his ambitions. The manager told him that too in as many words.
 

He may still stay even though he wants to leave, he is under contract and looks like no buyer will meet our valuation so the heat gets turned up
First the contract is 99.999% signed which it was not, second Drogba knows where he is going, which he does not. Seems suttle way of trying to force a move through without being too big a knob in my opinion. I think Moshiri stated it perfectly `he is our player` I think 80-90 mil would change that though, and he can go to his `beautiful club` and thank Drogba in the process

..not sure Pelle 'got about the pitch' but I think he does like a Pelle type. I actually think that's where D C-L comes in because he's very much a target man in the making. As for getting about the pitch, I wonder whether he'd like a Wellbeck type but with a bit more goalscoring quality.
