I would laugh my head off if he went to Spurs* that would be an awful decision unless he is 1) happy to be put out on the wing or 2) be happy to just start league cup games. He isn't getting ahead of Alli.

One thing I will say, I've only met him outside of football once, the day I picked I my ex fiances engagement ring. He came in to goldsmiths with a scally mate, casually threw his jacket down on the counter, then started strolling round clicking his fingers whilst his mate whipped out a wad of cash. Came across as really arrogant and instantly wound my ex up. This was two years ago when he was only just coming through and it's the exact attitude likely to cause a drunk/coked up div to take a swing.

To counter your experience, i waited outside F.F with my lad, signed his shirt etc. Seemed sound to me, though not as much as Seamus who is a top top bloke.
