Ross Barkley

Oh, and how about this "good at times" pair?

The deadly duo, both 28, were at their attacking best against their hapless Italian opponents in their Champions League Group E clash and treated themselves to some downtime ahead of their match at home to Real Sociedad on Saturday.

Look like 4 grownups enjoying each other’s company, two of which play for Barcelona, if Everton and Barkley become half as successful as the Catalans, I will take your point, until then I’ll stick to my position. Actually I might concede a top 4 finish or a cup.

Yes I do, didn't know he was in there, lads have been saying concert square. Even if he is, that's not your spot for a quiet drink regardless. It's studenty but also a bit druggy.

Look I know there's people who don't want one bad word said about anyone at Everton ever but even the most unhinged lads don't go around sparking people out for nothing. They're not going to learn, so Ross should.
They really do though. I've even known some lads who otherwise wouldn't say boo to a goose, start wailing on people because they've had too much ale.

I've heard similar stuff from someone who works at the club. Don't know if it's definitely true (and if it is, how serious) but Barkley seems to have a fair few enemies in the city for some reason. Hope he's alright and something deeply troubling isn't happening behind the scene.

He recieved threats to end his career a couple of years ago that made the paper ove a girl. If he is going after these wannabe gangsters girlfriends infront of their faces as suggested then he needs to sort it out. Any girl who is with these types of lads are not worth the hassle. There are thousands of single girls out there for him to choose from, but by the looks of it he has a type.

No wonder Fergie was obsessive about players getting married and settling down.

So glad you picked this point up.

I've said it a few times but there's definitely fans who forget that these players are real people. To some they seem to be players and that's it. They see them on the pitch and that's the end of it. It's really worrying.

They're only human after all. Don't put the blame on them.

I used to see Alan Stubbs in the betting office by The Peacock in Kirkby pretty much every week.

In retrospect, I should have chinned him for being there. It'd be his fault apparently, going by this threads' logic.

Just make sure you don't get sparked in the street by a stranger on the way home tonight. Not nice seeing anyone losing their job now but your employers would be left with no choice but to bid you farewell if you happened to get walloped.
