Horse Racing

Gone for Vieux Lion Rouge amongst others in the national, always go for ones who have won over the national fences before and those who've won over 4 miles. Additionally, I pick a couple based on my favourite jockeys, one of which is Tom Scu. Turns out Scu is a Toffee too, which makes me even more confident he'll win.
Martin Dwyer has been given his licence to ride in the bumper.
Think its in rememberence of his arl fella ?
Can't remember the full story though.
They are all blues.

...I've been out nice and early to buy the Weekender. Two of the leading tipsters (Paul Kealy and Nick Watts) both select Rogue Angel for the National. It's still 33-1 with William Hill but I can't see that lasting long.

I've got a feeling it will be a short-priced year. I thing the favourites are strong and I can see Vieux Lion Rouge, Defnitly Red and Cause of Causes all finishing in the frame.

Just got up. Meeting the lads for breakfast and a few jars before the races. See theres a few heavy faves today. Any decent each way tips Eggs? RU going yourself today mate?

...I am going Matey. Going for a breakfast myself. Not a tip from me but a few of the popular tipsters have gone for Raven's Tower in the Red Rum (Priceswise, Paul Kealy and Ben Linfoot). I think you have to back a few in the Foxhunters, I had Dineur at 50-1 last year so have had to back him again.

The last 3 are the only decent betting races. Just go with what you fancy. I'm in the Queen Mother Stand.

Good luck.
