...I've been out nice and early to buy the Weekender. Two of the leading tipsters (Paul Kealy and Nick Watts) both select Rogue Angel for the National. It's still 33-1 with William Hill but I can't see that lasting long.

..still 33s in Hills. I've had a couple of quid on it. Houblon des Obeaux 50-1 and O'Faolains Boy @ 66-1 were my own picks but it's obviously a tough race to find the winner.

..final declararations are 10.00am tomorrow, news tends to get out in the hour afterwards but I don't think there'll be many changes now.

I've got a feeling it will be a short-priced year. I thing the favourites are strong and I can see Vieux Lion Rouge, Defnitly Red and Cause of Causes all finishing in the frame.

...I am going Matey. Going for a breakfast myself. Not a tip from me but a few of the popular tipsters have gone for Raven's Tower in the Red Rum (Priceswise, Paul Kealy and Ben Linfoot). I think you have to back a few in the Foxhunters, I had Dineur at 50-1 last year so have had to back him again.

The last 3 are the only decent betting races. Just go with what you fancy. I'm in the Queen Mother Stand.
