On a serious note it seems like he is making a serious gamble on the city of Liverpool being a major hub for the foreseeable future. Buying up office space along the waterfront.

Thing is - not a gamble really.

Property is one of the safest investments, and he bought it before the anticipated 30% uplift in prices that the stadium will bring. He's essentially guaranteeing his own money increasing by well above inflation and market rates. Genius.
