Perfect deal - I wonder now who's going to chaff and choke at the prospect of using copy Liver Birds on logos!?

As an aside though... all this anger that some quarters have shown over the LCC / Anderson deal which is costing us £4.4M per annum... Mosh will be getting more than that back in annual rental from LCC for their offices in the Liver Building.

Never actually thought about this... the rental income will more than cover stadium costs.. genius

Can't imagine Moshiri part owning the building will have any impact on the usage of the Liver bird. Don't that lot have a patent on it?

I can just imagine when they all met at Bramley Moore dock for the first time. Pointing at the Liver building, Farhad turns to Anderson and says "How much for the pair?"

All the same, it is good to see him investing in the city.

They did try to copyright but failed.
They have copyright on Lfc merchandise tho.
Apparently to stop fake kits etc.

I know it's been stated that it's probably going to be used for office space, but what a location for a 5 star or higher hotel and conference center, it could become one of the most iconic hotel's in the country.

I wonder if this would have been announced on Saturday if we had won, but once we got beat it may have looked too much like announcing something to smooth over the loss?
