Truth of the matter is right now we are flat track bullies. Bossing West Brom at home and having a great home record is one thing. Being contenders at the top end of the league and matching the bigger guns is entirely another.

That's exactly where we are.

It's a decent effort first season after the last two seasons. But WAY too many people have been bigging up this team and manager. Neither are at the races in terms of top quality.

We only got beat by a two goal margin. Last year it was 4. Koeman's managed to halve it in his first season. Plus he played the kids.

I think he should have made changes at half time, Mirallas on for DCL (Mirallas should have started) and Pennington off as well. I've gone off on one a bit much given it's just one result in amongst a load of decent results recently, but I just detest those smug knobheads so much.

I like Koeman but it was like he wanted to lose today with that starting 11. Just why ?!

At the start of the season remember when he hauled off McCarthy when it wasn't working. Yet today was a clear text book example of the system not working but he made zero changes at half time. So what was the outcome they scored again !

Another derby defeat. I feel angry because I feel we weren't represented fairly today because of that starting 11.

It does show how paper thin the squad is with Bolasie , Coleman, Schneiderlin and Funes Mori out.
