Mate, Spurs were in the form of their lives at the time. Whatever Koeman did we were on a hiding to nothing.
They outplayed us from start to finish and the score flattered us in the end.

Things like that always happen even to the best teams in the land.

Spurs had only conceeded 5 at home all season before we came. They trounced Chelsea too. I do think he set up too negatively but probably figured our legs couldn't match theirs just yet. We have to be worse than we've been all season to lose 4-0 like in recent history. That probably wasn't even the crappest performance of the season, which is even more damning of Koeman's predecessors ineptitude.

Looking for an interview Koeman did about Cruyff. The search came up with that Southampton fan blog where he talks about Cruyff and other matters.

What does it matter how it was discovered? It's there.

The fact that our manager said he was an LFC fan when he was growing up, pales into insignifiaance compared to Roberto claiming to be a football manager

We'll see. The trip to WHL just lately suggests an inferiority complex.

The trip to WHL suggests we are a team in transition that is doing well but was unfortunately outclassed by a very good team having an excellent season after our manager made some errors of judgment like all managers do. It was still a million times less embarrassing then our showing at Castle Grayskull last year or any of a dozen showing last season.
