great play by Geri (and I'm in the pro Geri camp) but let's just be perfectly honest.....that may have been some of the worst defending I've EVER seen.

Talent has never been his problem. His problem is that he has a heart the size of a walnut. Plays when he fancies it, doesn't bother him if he doesn't, as long as his reflection still looks good to him in the mirror every morning. Probably a completely bellend outside of football tbh.

Montella disagrees with you...according to him when it mattered he stepped up against odds and were praised that he never gave up. The fans in turn said Deulofeu's determination was amazing and that he never gave up and was always a threat...even at 2 men down and one injured making it effectively 8.5 against 11. Full strength yes it supposed to be an easy game...yet with 2 sent offs and one Milan player injured (no subs left) and not giving up is imo a great game from Milan.

Not sure why people are happy or feel vindicated at any troubles he's having in Italy. Nevermind the fact that it was a great assist but people want to just point out the poor defending.

We should want him to succeed because if he develops as a player, maybe he can help our squad next year and at worst it means we can sell him for more money.
