Thing is, he'd play. No question. Even if Super Kev starts, he's not going a full 90.

Success has destroyed it. How do you summon up the traditional Everton spirit of laughing in the face of calamity when the manager has shown the door to Niasse, Gibson, Cleverley and the rest and signed Schneiderlin and Lookman?

I can't remember a deadline day that had less fume than this one.

Even if we sign no one else, we've done good business. Schneiderlin & Lookman in. Cleverly, Niasse, Gibson & Oviedo out. (A bit torn on Deulofeu tbh)

Still need to strengthen in a couple of places, but anything else is a bonus at this stage.
