We failed for Perez purely because Arsenal came in.

Belfodil - we pulled out as Ron-Ko wasn't convinced.

We did not fail for Belfodil, we decided not to pursue the deal. Whether or not that was because Koeman didn't fancy him (as has been widely suggested), we'll never know for sure

It suggests we want a attacker which if that is the case then if we failed at the first attempt twice it would be a little poor on the negotiation team side would it not? This is why i have faith, we must be after one if we are bidding for them.
