Christ even i'd rather have Oviedo than Garbutt. To say he's not progressed would be a huge under statement.

S'up Ij?
ALRIGHT CHRIST LAD
I'm willing to give Garburt one more chance under Koeman, but ideally I'd have Oviedo
But if Bry wants out then we'll have to make do
Garbutt by all accounts hasn't been able to get into the Wigan team ahead of Stephen Warnock who I thought retired about 4 years ago. He's turning 24 in a few months, it's not looking good for him.
No Mikey.I'm willing to give Garburt one more chance under Koeman
...don't think either are good enough for us going forward. Oviedo might be a lovely bloke but he's looked brittle since that horrific injury. We need better players to progress, not same old.
Remember he had folks foaming and worried he wasn't gonna sign a new contract??

Well we're probably not buying a LB this window mate, so it's one of those two I'm afraid
....linked with boy Gallacher from Scotland. Much will depend on whether there's anything in the Oviedo story but if the club are happy to let him leave without a replacement then (as others have said) perhaps RK feels Kenny or Holgate can cover.
Or Garbutt, which is why he's back in sumptuous royal blue for the time being?
