...in all seriousness, I don't think Usmanov will be centrally involved as a shareholder in EFC. Hope I'm wrong, but everything points to this being Moshiri's baby.

It's on the news now wooooop it's on. Well providing we get filthy rich I mean I'm not clued up on all that stuff. I'm sure someone can post what it will mean or That is still unknown I suppose ;(

Could someone who understands this all fully tell me if how I just described it to a mate at work is right:

Basically, the bloke who put a load of money into last year is best mates with the 56th richest man in the world. Alisher Usmanov. He owns a large chunk of Arsenal. But the Arsenal major owner won't let him spend anything on Arsenal. So our new guy has got him into us via sponsoring our training ground (as if that's even a thing!) so he can spend gazzilions on us instead. All the while keeping his stake in Arsenal.

I stand by what i said initially mate, i just don't think those two would split completely over such a long held ambition, flies against everything there relationship ahs been and apparently still is. may not be today or tomorrow, but eventually i think Usmanov will come on board, but at a time of his choosing after Moshiri has done all the grafting and got everything in place - Stadium/reorganizing the clubs infrastructure/commercial deals etc. Until then it looks like he's found a way around FPP in order to help out in that process

Oh aye so it's not really to be excited over?

...it's good news and it's a great thread but I think folk are putting 2 and 2 together and making 5. I suspect Moshiri owns part of USM and I also suspect this is a way of circumventing fair play rules (as Man City do via their sponsorship).

I won't believe until Usmanov shows the slightest inclination of selling his shares in Arsenal. Until then we are just awash with Mosh dosh.
