He will be well short of match practice though.

Big ask for a player to come into that game when he hasn't started a league game all season as far as I know.

Played a couple of games in Europe I think, one he was supposedly there stand out player in, lad seems a proper pro as well, so whilst he won't be 100% he may be close.

Hard to say for sure though as players can vary hugely in how lack of game time effects them.

Koeman has not put any player straight into the starting 11 from signing them. I can't see him breaking the rule for Schneiderlin. I suspect we will see Davies and Barkley start, with probably Barry unless McCarthy is fit.
