It's called hoofball mate. And it goes right against the grain of our tradition. You are entitled to liking route one footy though. No crime against it. It;s just not what Evertoniains generally would say is their ambition for their team. I know of no Evertonian who would rather have kick and run footy over footy on the deck. Sorry, but that goes with the territory of supporting this club imo.

Mate, I ALWAYS give Moyes credit for that. I'm one who supported him to the hilt for the first 9 years he was here. I know about his steadying influence. But that doesn't blind me to the fact that he was a terrible football coach...something he's gone onto prove beyond doubt since he left the cosy and forgiving confines of L4

I think any manager should want to play football on the deck as a given. I know it's not always that easy but I do expect it, shame on me for wanting good togger.

I'm going to just see if all our comrades on here are correct and he is only playing this style because he has no belief in the players(arguably still should be able to coach them but ok). I really hope they are correct, even the most ardent supporters will get fed up of another few years of hoofing it.

I don't know, maybe we were just spoilt in Roberto's first season, been a long time that we have been that excited, pity it was an anomaly.

Moyes deserved the time because he did not take us backwards or he had two crap seasons in a row. Nor he had lost the dressing room and the large crowd at Goodison turned against him unlike the previous manager. Plus Moyes hardly spent any cash or net spend, yet we got 4th-7th in 8 seasons out of 11. RM, well he just got found out and that's why he was sacked by Moshiri.

Mata was signed by Moyes at United he is one of the best international outfit is he? RM got lucky with Rom. Initially he asked for Ba and Chelsea offered us Lukaku instead. Still credit to where it is due.

I was seeking your opinion on Royle. In your opinion, a trophy, the FA Cup won by Royle must be a greater achievement than the 72 points trophy because according to you 5th is going nowhere.

Consistent league placings with money available is the best way to judge a manager.

The more money el fraudo spent ... the worse the team become lol

Koeman hasn't had time to spend yet and get his players in... but he has made us harder to beat even tho the football is not good to watch... after he has his own players in.. we can judge the playing style and of corse our league position..

And just so you know 72 points is nothing... nobody remembers how many points we got in 1995... they remember the cup win... nobody remebers how many points we got when we finished 4th... they remember we qualified... and I will bet you right now that our league position will be higher this season than the previous two... meaning... koeman has improved us..

Your obviously on the wind up constantly, the biggest attention seeker around or you genuinely just go looking for arguments ..

Sorry. Winning 3 points is the most important thing to do for me not passing 1000 times and lost 3-4 in the end.
