Still better then 11th and 13th though. No mate. 7th is still 7th. And it's still nowhere.

It's called hoofball mate. And it goes right against the grain of our tradition. You are entitled to liking route one footy though. No crime against it. It;s just not what Evertoniains generally would say is their ambition for their team. I know of no Evertonian who would rather have kick and run footy over footy on the deck. Sorry, but that goes with the territory of supporting this club imo.I really don't mind direct football as long as we win games. Winning games mean it is great football.

What you possibly mean to say is that Moyes was here almost four times as long as Martinez and had the time to get decent positions in the league (as well as nearly relegating us with our worst points total for 50 years in one season). But Moyes is not the coach Martinez is. Martinez is a great attacking coach whereas Moyes is a bang average coach in all aspects of the game. Do you think one of the best international outfits in the world would ever employ Moyes? They did Martinez, and therein essentially lies the difference: Martinez is a thinker and a strategist; Moyes was just a dinosaur Sgt Major...an analogue manager in a digital world, as they say.
We win with great football. Even the so called dogs of war could play. They'd outplay and batter into submission this Koeman side no problem.Dave, our tradition is winning.
If it helps us win, then it's the way to go.

Actually we are the school of science
There is our tradition not hoofball very little science there
Winning is a desired outcome if the traditional values
Mate, I ALWAYS give Moyes credit for that. I'm one who supported him to the hilt for the first 9 years he was here. I know about his steadying influence. But that doesn't blind me to the fact that he was a terrible football coach...something he's gone onto prove beyond doubt since he left the cosy and forgiving confines of L4That's extremely harsh on Moyes if it wasn't for him we may never have been in this position looking to compete with the "Big 6"
Enough for him to get a move to one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Congratulations, suey.
I was wondering when I was going to see the term "Big 6" committed to print and that accolade goes to you![]()

11th and 7th = nowhere/nothing/no cigar.
You answered your own question right at that point.
