Tbh I wouldn't want these taking us for £30m. A huge frustration over on redcafe is how Chelsea get top money for their players whilst United seem to sell on the cheap. Wouldn't surprise me if they were trying to make a statement here.

Surely if the player steps in and says he wants to leave then they'll have to start playing ball even if we don't increase our offer.

I think so mate. I think personal terms have probably already been ironed out, Utd won't be getting 25m for a player who has barely played, Everton won't get the player with a low ball offer of 19m so they will find common ground and sort it. Happy if we can get this sorted next 24-48 hours, even just for us fans as then it looks like yeah we mean business early doors.

The two defensive midfield positions will be filled by either Davies, schneiderlin and gana. Let's face it gana needs a rest at some point the lad must be running on empty at present. We will have 3 quality players to occupy these positions. Jimmy mc and Barry will be surplus to requirements.

All good imo Orly. Gives us Morgs and Davies along with Barry to rotate. McCarthy can't be relied upon due to injuries, Besic will need a couple of months to get match fit. Once Gana gets back we will then have him, Morgs and Davies rotating with Barry back up.

Good strong options which is what is needed.

No T Clevz robbing a seat on the bench either

4-3-3, Young Ross will get his place in the midfield diamond, young Tom will have to enjoy his run out till Gana comes back and then hope for a few scraps over the rest of the season, hes impressed Ronny, hes defo in his plans.
