Love the idea that this guy will be managing Barcelona or Arsenal one day.

Imagine them just completely ditching the ingrained football philosophies those clubs now have by hiring this dinosaur.

Apparently he only makes us play like this because our players can't play the kind of football he wants us to play...

Even though the same players have shown in previous seasons they are capable of playing very tidy football.

You can only play with cards you're dealt. This is still not his squad. We are having a poor season by our reckoning yet are only 3 points behind a Manchester United team that boast zlat and pogba... bit of realism and acceptance is needed I think.

Remember when we absolutely schooled Arsenal at Goodison a couple seasons back, outplaying them with classy and slick passing football. Some proper ole football.

We have more or less same players now and can't string together multiple passes.

To be fair, the football in the first 45 minutes was better than it has been for ages. Wasnt great or perfect but we at least tried to get it down and play more.

Unfortunately the McCarthy sub hampered us then our fitness levels (and mentality) finished us off.

Fair points but I'm still leaning more towards the manager being the main reason.

We need to sack koeman now and get moyes back. Hes the best manager in the league outside the top clubs. He consistently over achieved and seemed to to give a f@ck about the club when he was here. For f@cks sake he got the united job on the back of what he did for us. Fans hold a grudge because he came back for some of our best players..so what..koeman is an out and out mercenary..doesn't give a [Poor language removed] about Everton..only concerned about using us to get a bigger job. Koeman spent 28 million on bolaise!! A player he always admired! Says it all about his judgement. Thats nearly as bad as that dud we signed from the russian league. Ok..football wasnt always brilliant under moyes..but he was pragmatic..do what u need to do to get a result. Thats what we need...with money and some time hes a better option than the pretender we have

Think we areally a tighter defensive side this season. .. we lack somebody who can link our play from back to front though. Lukaku has looked so isolated at times its unreal. Give the manager the time he needs to adress this with players of his choice and then judge him.

not saying he's blameless by any means. There was the same night and day difference last year between how we played in martinez' first season and last season with the same players. I just think the squad has declined and isn't that good

Bringing Calvert Lewin on was a terrible decision, badly out of his depth. Not his fault but he should not have been on the pitch.
