Gerard Deulofeu

I think it was more of a case of him having played the full 90 on Saturday and was being rested, same reason why jags would ever get a start infront of Funes Mori now.

I agree with the first part of that, but would have preferred to see Geri come on instaed of Mirralas...Mirallas did his usual not very much apart from chance giving a penalty away, and Geri would have been a much better out ball.

That makes sense now.

I mean, you can't fault Koeman in the team selection and Lennon played well.

But it was a strange decision on the face of it to leave Gerald out for Lennon after the way he played on Saturday.....he played with the same heart and commitment in that last twenty five minutes as the whole team did last night from the 20th minute onwards.

I shouldn't be surprised to see him start the derby.

Mate it was against Arsenal, thats one game that lennon should play, for him it's his derby game after so long at spurs

Obviously can't say this, but I reckon that Geri wouldn't have got into the game as much with the lacklustre performance in the first 20mins.

I'm not Lennon's biggest fan but he put in an excellent shift and I think his runs and commitment really helped get the crowd going

Delboy did not deserved to be dropped end of if he was playing bad at Watford why was he not subbed by RK as per usual 2starts since August for Delboy is a waste of talent IMO!
He produced good football v Watford IMO!

His crossing ability could prove useful in the derby. That along with the fact Milner is a grandad who'd never be able to keep up with him.

Oh come on ,we play very well beat Arsenal and your still finding a reason to have a moan. He probably picked Lennon because he thought he was better suited to last nights game than Deulofeu and do you know what? The result bears him out.

Dropped because he doesn't offer enough defending from the front and it was obvious we weren't going to see a lot of the ball. I like the lad but horses for courses and this time it proved correct
