Errrr....tongue in cheek perhaps ?? :)

Of course it's tongue in cheek - I'm not mad from the EFC/LFC angle (though the Klopp love in has gone far enough thanks), I take plenty of vicarious pleasure in pointing out just how small some low brow Kopite on the BBC desk looks by creating and pushing this dumb article. Its presence would be excusable/stupid/amusing/irrelevant* were it not for the lack of a report on the actual game.

What we are actually left with is the distinct impression it was not just important but, seemingly, the only relevant fact of the night. If that doesn't send a message to people that the BBC has turned into Hello! or OK! instead of the revered news and television service it purports to be then I don't know what does.

great, by the time it took them to create that, they were no longer top haha

they're the only set of fans that celebrate weird things like this mid-season. i understand fans chanting "we are top of the league" at the time, but more than that? Banners? Flags? Celebrating in october etc? Leicester fans didn't do it last season.

Title challenge pretty well out the window for the time being.

They need to be less concerned about Chelsea and Arsenal and more about Spurs.
