The shirt selling myth eh, so you mean your selling a few million shirts with pogbas name on them, you do realise that those shirts would 've sold anyway the only difeebcd is now young lads are choosing his name on the back instead, it's not like you've suddenly got a few million people converting to United who wouldn't buy a shirt before yanno?

Do us a favour if your going to come in here don't talk Shoite

Shirt sales cover the £89 million

Despite the nonsense you may have heard about Zlatan Ibrahimovic shirt sales generating £50m for Manchester United, which would far exceed his wages, it’s simply not true. In fact, United don’t even automatically receive the 10-15% industry-standard royalty payment, no doubt because the up-front £75m annual payment is so large. United’s royalty payment only kicks in once a certain number of shirts are sold.

Well that's why I included Ibra on my very first post. The shirt selling has gone successfully. You don't actually think there are people out there who are not United fans but still bought United shirt with Ibra name on it because they are fans of Ibra. And the thing is those £89m is probably the money that we had from Ronaldo. We didn't spend much during Fergie era so it's about damn time we used the money.

Well, it's a bit disappointed just like the Juan Mata discussion last time. (n)
I came here for peace and being nice to ask people here about would you spend £30m on Memphis and I end up with silly replies and somehow Pogba's name came out out of nowhere LOL

Most of that has gone on wages for that fat scouse lad.

Him being flopped at United because we have higher expectation, doesn't mean he's a bad player. Unfortunately Martial is just a better player. You are trying to think that play poor at United means the player will play poor at Everton when both clubs have different expectations.

The fact that he scored a lot of goals outside PL than what Bolasie did when he played outside PL shows that he's better than Bolasie and you spent £27m on Bolasie. Memphis Depay just needs more times and he's still 22 years old.
I see the point you're trying to make but the fact is despite massively overpaying for him, Bolasie has caused lots of problems for premier league defences in his career whereas Depay has never done that.

The age is a positive factor in your favour when it comes to negotiating as he still may have a great future. However, I'll be disappointed if we pay more than 18 million.

Well, comparing Pogba with Gueye? You are going to be kidding right?
Stop this madness. There isn't a comparison to be had. We paid about a 1/12 for Gueye to what you did for Pogba. This forum will destroy any argument forthcoming from yourself. Retreat peacefully.
