I reckon this too mate ,It would have mate, players had given up on him, Rom would have 100% left this summer

This is such a myth.Moyes had Everton finishing 4th and you wouldn't describe that as anything other than direct football.
Pigeons around Walton have been put back on an Defcon 1 footing. Poor gets.Must admit, when Moyes was here I had a terrible problem with my neck, once he left it started to heal, have noticed again that pain coming back.

The point is to play football as it should be played...and if you think seeing Barkley, Lukaku, Deulofeu and Mirallas all at pace carrying the ball to the opposition is tippy tappy you evidently dont know what tippy tappy is.
See that away annihilation of Wolfsburg a few seasons back at their place?...never in a million years would Moyes or this new feller be able to carry out such a game plan.
As said, we all know Roberto wasn't the real deal in the end, but FFS could he set up a team to attack the opposition with flair and aggression.
I despair that we'll never see footy of that nature again for years and years.
yeah he'd have gone definitely, agreed. It would have mate, players had given up on him, Rom would have 100% left this summer

Some would surrender the FA Cup Royle won with The Dogs of War I reckon.
Not sure if this is aimed at me or just a general observation but that side had a snarl to it plus was 20 years ago, the players are more athletic and skillful than ever.
Don't get me wrong, all about opinions. I'm not afraid of saying that whilst I'd like success, i'd like it via good football if possible.
If it isn't, fair enough, but had Martinez been able to marshal the defence he had and bought a playmaker to give the play some zip against the teams who sat back and conceded space to us, perhaps we would have had the best of both?
Koeman at the moment is serving up dross and scarce points. If we win a crap load of games 1-0 and look like that 95 team then i'd shut up and put up.

The players have took responsibility now which that team did when they were bottom , things might change now mateNot sure if this is aimed at me or just a general observation but that side had a snarl to it plus was 20 years ago, the players are more athletic and skillful than ever.

@davek is expounding a style over substance argument - and that's fair enough.Dave I do not get how you are still defending Martinez at this point. I really do not care how the team plays (style) as long as they win. That is the difference. And Martinez can't setup a defence to safe his life. I just see stupidity and stubborness on his "brand". We have to agree to disagree then.
