Ronald Koeman discussion

I'm staggered that some dont see how appalling that ignorance was/is.

Imagine a manager of this club this season going elsewhere and stating he didn't know who someone like Jonjoe Kenny was? In fact, I'd actually bet big money that Koeman doesn't know who are in that U23 team right now beyond Dowell, Davies, Browning and Holgate.

I think Koeman can do nothing right in your eyes.Obviously he deserves his share of criticism for the poor run of results. Will he be a success here at Everton?I don't know.I guess we'll be in a better position to judge that come the end of his second season.

All he has to do is what he's getting paid for: motivate the players, organise them, select his best team, get them to play good football, win games.

What we have though is unmotivated players, disorganisation, the selection of out of form players, some of the worst football since Walter Smith's time in charge, and a nine game run with one win to show for it.

I dont care how short a period of time he's been here, £6M per season should be getting us better than that after he joined the club back in June.

We used to have 2 centre midfield players, one was always a bit more defensive than the other. Sometimes, they took turns in staying back and moving forward. The ability to pass the ball, was always a prerequisite and Ross can do that. Formations/systems change but, the ability to play football hasn't and anyone suggesting Ross Barkley can't play, in this Everton team, seriously needs to think again.
Wether he can or can't play football in this team is not really the issue. the fact is "he isn't"

He could help his cause by getting more involved in the club, we are proud of our history and maybe he should have look at it.

He's been his own worst enemy in this respect. Just fake how much you care about the club, it does miracles for how the fans perceive you.

His I couldn't really care less I'm a mercenary attitude is doing him no favours.

Agree, Martinez had so many faults but he embraced the club and it's history.

Difficult to disagree with that. I have said it a few times, but he is a difficult bloke to warm to. Guess thats his way, and if he delivers on the pitch, then all good. If not, well, little sympathy.

It's like Koeman's being deliberately obtuse and not bothering himself to embrace the club. That's fine if you're winning games but not if you're struggling.

I'm appeased by the fact I think he's desperate to do well for himself so in that respect he'll be doing everything he can to get the team going in the right direction.

He is trying his best to distance himself like.
