Ronald Koeman discussion

Who were the quite a few kids who got their debuts under Koeman?

Five:
Ryan Seager
Matt Targett
Jake Hesketh
Dominic Gape
Jason Mccarthy

As well as playing guys like Ward Prowse regularly.

You might say who any of these are, and that's fair enough, but at least he gave them a chance before deciding they weren't good enough. Before Josh Sims on Sunday (so 1 game), how many have we heard of Claude Puel give chances to? Maybe none, or few of them, were very good. At least he gave them a chance.

seager and gape got on for 1 minute each to waste time at the end of games. mccarthy got 3mins. lol

hesketh got a few mins due to a major injury crisis. never to be seen again lol

targett was already in the 1st team squad for 12months and on the bench before koeman took over. he did give him his debut.

I think we can say 1 player was brought in by koeman in 2 years...cant fairly count the others.

giving 3 players 1-3mins isnt a chance nor is playing one when everyone else is crocked.

Nobody has downed tools, we are just failing as a creative unit and Rom and Ross are the core factors in our attacking play, when they dont show up, we dont show up.

i think were too deep as they compensate for lack of pace and thats why baines stays back now

So you think Koeman is as ridiculous and as stubborn as Martinez was then, and is going to keep giving Coleman, Jagielka, Barkley, Mirallas, Deulofeu etc. infinite opportunities when NONE of them have performed all season? He's already 1 up on Martinez just for saying Ross and Rom weren't good enough at Soton.

Ronny plays 2 actual wingers, instead of sticking The Clev or Kone on the wing, which allows our wingers to be the 1s being core to our attacking play rather than relying on our fullbacks.

Of course they still need a target in the middle to hit and we currently have Rom standing at the edge of the area with his hand up and Ross wondering around the semi circle wondering if hes left the iron on.

koeman wont use an u21 if he has an inferior experienced player to pick.

see cleverley ahead of davies....a recovering mccarthy in instead of davies....motm holgate dropped immediately for coleman.

huge space from defence and defensive midfield to barkley...

But why play an inferior youth player when you have an experienced player to pick instead?

Davies isnt better than The Clev, in fact I think they are very similar players, tidy on the ball, high energy, about as creative as a sponge.

Holgate is a CB, hes not a Coleman replacement, he only got Motm from Everton, no other publication in the world gave him Motm.

lukaku needs the ball laid on to him in front
were not doing that much. Do that and he scores

He's got the movement of a Redwood Tree, the turning ability of an ocean liner. I play with astro lads who hang out by the goal and toe poke balls into the net, we need someone who sees openings, drags defenders out of play, holds the ball up and can wait instead of jumping 6 seconds to early for a header, you know, like a footballer does
