I know he's had chances, but I'm not giving up on him just yet.

For me mate he could have come on in the last few games (as he has) and grabbed them by the scruff of the neck.

He could have proved he's worthy of a start.

And while I do think he should be given the chance, I don't think he's done anything to warrant it.

There needs to be changes for the next game and even though I'm not sure if Koeman will make them (which if he doesn't then there will rightly be questions asked), I don't think Del is the front of the queue to be in the team either.

The problem for me is theres no one in the queue who you would say should start.

Del, Kev, Valencia, cleverly haven't done anything to deserve it.

Surely in this situation Davies deserves a chance.

His natural style suits the pressing game that Koeman lauds

Yep, I agree.

Though, actually, the one player of that list who I do think deserves a go (apart from Davies) is Valencia.

We've looked better (and miles better) when he's been on and we've had two up top.

He's not the best, but fgs he is a forward. We need to change systems and that is down to Koeman to sort out.

Thing is though mate, we've got Lennon, Mirallas and Del to play on the opposite side to Bolaise, and you could say none of them deserve a starting place.

The funny thing is, I can see Koeman bringing Cleverley back in to replace Lennon against the Mancs.

Unfortunately, so can I

Also, Bolasie is miles better on the right as well.

So we've basically got four right wingers.

Which is why at least if Depay signs he's always played on the left...

Is depay an actual possibility

I thought it was one of Zats dreams again

stick him in unts midfield and he would light them up - our midfield with barry and no other creative box to box midfielder is the reason why guaye is quite good in the lee carsley role he does not need barry to jog along side him imo!
You may be right, but by the time we get a team good enough to (not quite) 'carry' him, or as some might say - use his talents to the fullest, he'll be long gone...off to where those like Huddlestone go, gone off to where those big lads go who can play a bit, but wouldn't pull you out of bed.

RB tries his best but has to give up looks around has to twist and turn as the nearest player up front is isolated ot thee rest are stoon on the six yard box back in defence - our one man midfield!
