Taking off the blue tinted glasses

I'm sorry but lukaku is not a problem.

Perhaps if we had anybody as an attacking option or competent creative players then it wouldn't be so glaringly so one dimensional?

I mean seriously, we have a top striker for the first time since linker and people want to lay blame on the striker yet moan no one creates anything for him all because he doesn't run round enough?

We deserve to lose llukaku, only for all these fans on his back to see what we actually end up with replacing him with and then we really will be a crap team
How dare you spout sense?!
You know you're on GOT right?

I don't think anyone can deny that this team is bang average at best.

Gone from the so called best squad in generations to this utter splurge in two years.

I've said it for a long time now, this is the poorest squad we've had for well over a decade. Never mind if it's down to Moyes, Martinez, Koeman or whatever, we have an ageing defence, an injury prone, uncreative, slow midfield, a bunch of largely ineffective wingers and no options at all at centre forward if Lukaku isn't on top form.

Koeman inherited an unfit, under-motivated, mentally weak set of players from Martinez, but I can't see much in the way of improvement in fitness, motivation, tactics, formation, belief, leadership or enthusiasm.

Until we get rid of Lukaku, stop buying luxury players and aim for a consistent gameplan with consistent players, we'll get performances like this time and time again.

There's no cohesion whatsoever, because we never have a reliable outball to build from.

Badly need to cash in on Lukaku, and it can't come soon enough because the longer he plays for us, the more glaring his flaws will become and his value could plummet.

This. Just this.

lol @ it having to do with Rom...it has much more to do with the fact we have no other threat so teams can just focus all their attention on him as there is no one else to worry about

Oh good grief.

Moyes???? Are we still at this nonsense.
I wasn't seriously advocating the return of Moyes. The point I was making was we have a squad of ageing players and journeymen, manager included. We need a manager and players who are fully committed to the cause long-term. Our predicament is starting to feel very Walter Smith era at the moment.

what worries me most is my apathy to the whole sorry state. I sat through it without remotely getting the passion for this team that previous seasons have produced. I sadly gained points in our prediction league of which I took no joy.

I think we're in a situation where we are all waiting for things to happen, the talk of a new stadium needs to be clarified with hard plans and visions,New sponsors or better ran commercial departments need to lift this club again. It seems to be the fanbase and the players are now only waiting for us to get to the January window, but concerns are who would want to come , and are they any better than what is on the books atm, we have a squad full of squad filling players, who would realistically give up European football to come and play for us. If Bolassie is the standard our management team thinks is appropriate to lift this club into a force again, then I think we're all in for a rough ride.

the fans sell out the ground and fill their away allocation every time, travelled the length of the country today, they deserve far far better than what their being given at this time.
