Ronald Koeman discussion

Did I expect Koeman to be able to coach and organise this team to finish 1 place higher?? Yep, I did.

Particularly as Martinez allegedly got sacked for under performing with one of our best ever squads.
The best ever squad was a myth, and as for one place higher he is currently 4 places higher - your point?

What seems to be missed easily is that we have a captain with no voice on the pitch and right now he is also the first person to be a liability on the pitch.

Perhaps why the team has no direction on the pitch?

Barry has been just as bad as a so called experienced player.

We're 7th yet reading on here we're in a relegation fight! It will take time where's the BS in that.
We're a point worse off than we were under Martinez at this point last season (following an easier run of fixtures) with a squad that we keep getting told is better than last years and with a manager we keep getting told is better. So, some of us are worried about the future. Does that help clear things up?

All he needed to do here was fix that friggin back four and leave the rest as found. What has he tried to do though? He hasn't fixed the defence, he's just made us dull and unbalanced.

I want the feller to lead us to a better future, but he is looking like a complete 'kin car crash right now. It feels like we made a big mistake at this early stage.

we both said in the summer we'll give him the season...we still should, but these next few games plus the window may push our discipline.

Still not going to blame him. I agree with the few posters who have laid the blame on the players - the same bunch who so unprofessionally downed tools under Martinez.

If we had brought in a few more like he wanted then we may have seen some of these spineless players binned altogether. Unfortunately, we only managed to get 3 in and all 3 have been our better players so far. Bolasie may be a bit frustrating but he is more creative and works harder than Mirallas and Deulofeu put together. Gana has been superb, but is trying to cover his, Barry's and Barkleys space on his own - the worlds best DM couldnt do that. Williams has been steady, but looks suspect lately due to Jags playing with a constant hangover and lead lined boots.

He may not be left much choice with the squad at his disposal as they all have the same weak mentality but he does have a Choice to bring in players from the U23's who will at least leave it all on the pitch regardless of how the game is going.

To me.... he just doesn't get what we are about (History wise) Martinez at least came in and embraced the history and put all our great players up on the walls of FF.He seems to have nothing but financial gain and eyes elsewhere
Yeah ..embraced our history and turned us into relegation candidates...does it matter "who gets EFC" The malaise at our club goes deeper than Koeman imo.....something is rotten in the state of Kenwright....

Forget the points total it's the position in table that counts. The garden isn't rosy but you have to give the manager a chance or put this another way Klopp faced the same criticism last season.
