Ronald Koeman discussion

Get three in January and promote from the u-23's.

That will be some start to fixing this mess.

No need to worry about losing anything from the dropped players, that ship sailed ages ago.

against Arsenal, RS and Man U?

Why not? We've got players that can compete against these teams.

We're not playing well right now, but that can all change. We're a decent top 10 outfit. These kind of runs are par for course in a team in our position. Hopefully we'll get ourselves out of it soon.

This isn't a surprise if you look at his career in management, Southampton aside he's been pretty dreadful everywhere else

He has been a pretty average manager. Dreadful is a bit harsh.

That said you could reincarnate Rinus Michels (get your cheque book out Moshiri) and put him in charge of us and we would still offer up the same dross.

Mentally weak players, massive fannies the lot of them.

He can't complain about the second half he just said lol! Is this guy having a laugh! He keeps saying we don't start well in the first half then sort it out ffs!

We are not as bad, but I see a lot of parallels now with the position we found ourselves in back in 1994, when Joe Royle was brought in.

At the time there was absolutely no heart and no fight.

We needed the dogs of war then and we need them just as much now.

I see the mess that Koeman has inherited, but he has to abandon principles and be practical now.

Things could turn very ugly if he carries on as things are.

Its Mike Walker all over again.

Need to get Unsworth and Royle back in the dugout.

So it is the players at fault and it is up to Walsh and Moshiri to dig out.

One wonders what we are paying £6 million a year to Koeman to do, then

7 points now from 24.

And the manager appears clueless about how to stop the rot.
Koeman had an equally poor run with Southampton last season and managed to turn it round but he's not inspiring confidence that he can do it here. We're the biggest club he's managed since Valencia and he's not looking good so far. His team selections are uninspiring, he's failed to even attempt blending in the promising young players & his best signings are the ones who've cost hardly anything. Disappointing but not entirely surprising.

Because we have had memorable seasons the last two years ? This team is garbage and blaming a manager after 6 months is really an answer ?

He hasn't been here long enough to say its HIS team so if we boot Koeman who do you suggest to replace him ?

I am not suggesting we "boot" him out.

I am merely saying we are in freefall and have six games or so before the next window and if this slide is not arrested then we will be hovering just above the drop zone come the new year.

So I want to some new thinking from this very highly paid individual in an attempt to head off such a scenario and that means he needs to work out a way to utilise the players he has at the moment.

And I am not prepared to give him a free pass and just shrug my shoulders and watch his clueless tactical set ups come unstuck on an almost weekly basis now.

But if you are happy enough to absolve him from any responsibility for this current shambles then fair play to you.

I am sorry, I just can't.

Nor won't.
