Come on Zat, Its better than 'phenomenal' comments, and these modern day players need an effing spine and deal with the truth instead of everyone blowing smokes up their hoops!!

Mourinho would have been slaughtered if he had said it + its obvious Jags is finished or at best, needs a rest.

Hes stated that Jags needs to improve as he and Williams are the centre backs...wont do much for Mori or others confidence.

Mate, for me he's done nothing in a big league, and, were it not for his illustrious playing career, there'd be nobody in here excited by his appointment. Just my opinion.

In fairness mate, finishing in the top 6 of the Premier League with a club like Southampton isn't "nothing".

Getting EFC into the top 6 was enough to land Moyes the biggest job in world football.

That's simply the truth, Jags does need to improve massively!!! It could work for him were Mori gives that little bit extra in training to prove the manager wrong.

Certainly doesn't warrant a £6m annual wage, and adulation and drooling from a club major shareholder?
Needs to win something before a club like Barcelona even sneeze on him. I find it laughable journalists ask him questions linking him there.

I like Koeman, and I do think he'll do the biz here -it's early days etc - but on hs current career record alone he ain't going to Barca.

I think Ron's managerial record (as detailed in the graphic below) is very good, though I agree that the Barcelona speculation is absurd. He was Barcelona's Assistant Manager for a spell, but he will never be número uno at Camp Nou.

Just out of interest, who would you have appointed instead of Ronald Koeman?

Just for the record he is totally happy here, and committed to a 3 year project at the mimimum.
That's good - as I say above it's early days, and he's got us from fearing relegation to being 7th. I'm not saying we're happy with 7th because we're not, but we can't honestly expect to go from being essentially garbage for two seasons, to being top 3.

He'll do the biz, I just reckon more time and a plethora of his own signings is required.

That's a tough one mate. I was firmly of the belief we needed a big name to get the world to take notice of us and attract players. Jose was my dream(which I must admit I am now thankful he is nowhere near our club as I think he has lost his marbles), followed by Emery who rejected us I am guessing before we turned to Koeman?

If it is true that Moshiri wanted Koeman and only Koeman from the beginning, I am dumbfounded by it all really then.
