Sad to see what's happened in this thread.

I don't see clear improvements so far despite what the stats and league position would say. I think by season end we will have seen it, that at least we will have been more solid....but just going on the actual football I've watched from us so far I still see a fairly weak willed team that blows hot and cold.

Also, annoying as some of his schtick is on other topics, I am enjoying watching Davek wind up the over the top posters still dancing on the last bosses grave. All handbags and little integrity in this little battle.
Agree that there is still an annoying and disturbing propensity for our players to totally 'go missing' for periods of a game. The lack of off the ball movement also frustrates me. But Rome was not built in a day etc and from a points accumulated perspective (and league position), I am pretty content.
Still lots to be done though, as I am certain RK is well aware

Off the ball movement!

I remember that

Oh such lofty ideals. Ross might have some options to pass to more than two or three times a game if we were to attempt to add this to our repetoire.

If I am honest, not impressed so far! Hope I am wrong, but he has inherited these players who a lot have question marks against their names!!!

Why aren't you impressed mate? (Genuine question here, I'm not on the wind up like some others in here...)

We've defended better this season, any manager worth his salt would have taken that approach first having looked at our defence since it was ruined by Martinez.

We've stopped more crosses than anyone in the league this far averaging 3.6 per game. Considering the amount of goals that we conceded from crosses last season I think that's really impressive, even more so when you consider Coleman started the season injured and almost as he came back we then lost our first choice on the other side.

I'm really enjoying watching Everton being rebuilt from what went before and to HAVE made this much progression in 3 months is incredible. Should we beat Chelsea we are going to go into the third international break (FFS) at worst 5 points off top, not bad considering you could of doubled our league tally last season and only just (?) won the league.

To all proper evertonians, enjoy it, worry about the negatives if they come along.

You're not impressed with the manager whilst not rating the players at his disposal whilst we are 6th in the league and have the 2nd best defence?

That makes no sense, not rating one or other, I could see that but both makes it odd.

He wouldn't know, too busy watching (and admiring) the way the Kopites play apparently!
Is this going back to what I said about Klopps team being more attractive to watch than the current Everton one?

Just about 99% of the football watching public would agree...and most Everton supporters. Don't believe me? Start a thread and ask them here.

They played better football than us last season too, and the season before that, and even the one before that.
