Let's be honest here, Haye as not looked good since he beat Mormack. He got dropped early in that fight too. It was an impressive performance against Mormack. What was that 2008/2009? Haye as looked poor as an heavyweight. His best wins came agains Mormack and Enzo
Bellew has no chance against Haye. Haye is 1/7 for the fight and even that is good odds, he knocks Bellew clean out inside 6 even if he is well past his best. Lets not forgot Bellew was knocked clean out by Stevenson and dropped multiple times by light heavyweights, who hit nowhere near as hard as david haye. Its a mismatch

Big fan of Bellew and genuinely in awe of the career he has been able to create for himself. Should be applauded for getting a world championship fight at Goodison- let alone winning it!! Plus the movie and so on.

@Tubey absolutely spot on - Bellew getting a top of the bill monster payday with Hayes is excellent business. Lose and he's retiring in silk pyjamas anyway having achieved all his targets , win and he's gilded the lily. Well done him.

Personal opinion sadly is that if he fights Haye in the next year or so he's going to get punished severely

Stevenson knocks out almost everyone though. He's a massive puncher. I'm not defending Bellew, but he was never a light heavyweight. You could tell he was struggling in some of those lesser fights at LHW. I remember the first fight against Cleverly and I'm suprised he lasted that fight against someone whose a natural LHW. He got that fight On short notice and pushed him very close. Every fighter will tell you, losing that weight drains you. If, and it's a massive If, they fight at heavyweight, Haye wins. Catchweight, Bellew as a chance.

He will go were the money is if he fights any of the top heavyweights he gets beat in my eyes , not looking like the fighter of a few years ago, might only have one decent payday left.

The heavyweight division as moved on from Haye. Haye is stuck in a tough place. He's to big for cruiser and to small for the heavyweights of today.

Read somewhere recently, that Joe calzage weighed the same as Rocky Marciano for his last fight against Roy Jones Jr. at LHW.

I was watching Rocky Marciano v Louis the other night shocking the size of them to modern fighters .

Haye knocks Bellew out in 6 rounds, would happily bet big on that

No, Bellew doesn't have a chance, catchweight or not. He is bang average, goes on like hes some massive puncher when is reality he isn't, i would honestly fear for him if he fought Haye, regardless of the power of Haye, hes out of his league. He's not the best cruiserweight in the world and he would get chinned unconscious by Haye, facts.
