Goodison atmosphere so far this season...

Better in some ways - we were bored senseless the last two years with the passing for the sake of it football, more direct does get the fans up more. However still to many waiting to turn on players, particularly Ross which annoys me. Every creative player is inconsistenet otherwise they wouldn't be here! Frustration just boils over paticularly as we always fail to make that jump and put us up with the leaders.

I would love to see a standing corner like Celtic just to keep Goodison humming because frankfully it's silent.

I think before kickoff we also need to intensify the atmosphere. I love Z-Cars but we tend to play more jolly jolly songs just before we need some anthems not just the boys pen tunes.

It's pretty bad to be honest. Over the last 5 years Goodison has became infested with self righteous entitled idiots. I don't know where they've came from or what they would of done in the 90s. They turn up, sit in silence and only chirp up to have a go at their own team and manger, then snarl you if you want to get a song going.

On telly it comes across very poorly...easily the worst in the PL. I think it stems from watching a potentially ok team, play rubbish football the past 2 seasons ( and this one to date)

Imagine the boos were for the absolutely abysmal second half showing that everton produced. And the previous two absolute shockers vs Norwich and Bournemouth.
We have a boooer! Do you also enjoy typing with the caps lock on after the game?

Shocking, the regularity of boos is embarrassing, why do our fans think we should be winning every game? If we're not winning you can sense the unease around the ground. The lack of patience to some players is shocking. Also, the treatment by some 'fans' towards Ross is not healthy, for him or us. We are there to SUPPORT. The atmosphere at home is detrimental.

I'd hate to be an Everton player out of form having to play at Goodison. So many of us moan, boo and tear down players.

It's a hangover from the despair of the last 18 months of Martinez.

I thought the boos were directed at the ref myself although my general opinion on the season so far at has been an improvement on last year(could hardly be worse tbf) with lots of positivity at the start of games and encouraging patience for longer into each half. But events on the pitch will eventually build up or destroy positivity generated by fans and the promising first half was obviously replaced by edgy grumpiness as we were pushed well back by a side who, though well drilled, we should have gone on to beat after taking the lead. Crowd gets buoyed by near misses too but we did not really create many of them.
That said there are a bigger than average number of boo boys there atm and have been since the big increase in STH after RM's first season and they are quickly on the back of certain players, Ross being one. Talent brings pressure and expectations unfortunately for him. That said he is not going to be booed back into form unfortunately.

Atmosphere has been poor since it went all seater. When we had standing we had 3 sides of the ground that generated an atmosphere.
This season I think there was optimism with a new manager and the proposed investment, this generated a decent atmosphere, but you could feel something simmering below the surface....and sadly it has started to surface.
Once this takes hold it becomes difficult for the players as they are not prepared to try anything, they simply do the safe things..which annoy people.

At times we need the ref to make a poor decision in the first 5 mins, as for some reason the crowd is far better when they feel they have been wronged
