This is my Verdict on the general outcome of our first 7 league games.
1. I still trust Koeman to get it right. With the Saints he had a poor start and turned around their season. We have picked up 14 points and if we can get it right soon we can still finish in a solid position.
2. We need reinforcements badly. New faces , stronger mentalities quality backup players. I'm sure we are all aware of this issue. No more BS Moshiri get those players in.
3.Attacking play is ineffective. Very static upfront and nobody wants to move and open up some space. I enjoyed Martinez first year due to our ability to slice teams open with ease. We have struggled in this aspect for 2 years now.
4. COYB , get behind the team and stop with the boo's rubbish.

Great. Back to the Moyes days of 'you start with a point, and you must end with at least that point'? I was hoping for something more from Koeman, very depressing if it's just more of the same old same old.
Agree, it got to the point where I thought Koeman was going to be happy to keep it as it was for the full 90 mins.
Think the same can be applied to us mate!
But you've got a huge, physical side, and that's enough most of the time, especially with players who can play.
Over-reaction on here will be huge, as always, but that's a fair point, all in all.
New signings wouldn't have prevented Benteke heading that in, or have helped Gueye score from six-yards out.

We just have to hope we will Nick a few points in those games however the gulf in class between us and them is massive.
I wonder once McCarthy is back would it not make sense to drop Barry, The extra legs may allow us to play Barkley and two wingers.
It would also mean that our best player wasn't playing. If fully fit and in form (which he nearly always is), Barry starts. Simple.

He didn't play on the wing. He played in midfield. And he was one of our better performers. He's hated for been a steady performer.
He came in today and did what was required to help the team and there's a reason Koeman started him - because he's reliable to do just that in a difficult game.
