He's not good enough or big enough to back up Rom and he was a panic buy.

But we know this. It's not the lad's fault. He put in a shift and we need to give him a chance really.

Honestly, we could do with him having as few chances as possible.

The more chances he gets probably means he's on the pitch at Lukaku's expense and that's bad news for us if we're wanting to win football matches.

True, but when he is playing I mean, let's try not to crucify the lad already. That was his first start for us.

Worst first touch than Rom. Made the most unintelligent runs imaginable. Lacked match fitness. Couldn't win a header.

He probably suffers on the back of being the dissappointing end to the transfer window. Perhaps there is some transferrance of anger onto him.

He didn't impress tonight but Koeman and Walsh must see something there. He would have to be given a chance with a strong 11 out.
