Bobbys pay off

It's just the risk a club makes by tying a manager down to a long-term contract. Good luck to him. The deal was signed after his first season, which makes it understandable.

On a separate issue, I can never understand the sympathy prem managers are given when they lose their jobs. They get a pay-off most of us can only dream of and remain on the gravy train for seasons to come.

Bill Kenwright like him or loathe him reminds me of the Beatles Manager out of his depth financially wise the sooner he is given a ambassador job out of the way of everything or the ones who want rid got rid of the better for the new owner to trust his instincts this sort of pay off is exactly what we cannot afford!

best job in the world.

The rewards for failure often outweigh the rewards for success :pint2:

Chatting wham per usual. Yes he oversaw the worst home record in our history...but he also oversaw one of our best records. He is nowhere near our worst manager. He wouldn't have the fifth best winning percentage if he were that bad.

But hey ho you also are adamant that 5th is mid table...

This 5th best winning percentage as Everton manager is a bit of a sham really tbh. Take out season 1 where the defence and fitness were Moyes drilled and he would probably be in the late 30's and well down the list.
