Maybe and I hate to disparage you for positive thinking because I will not hide the fact that I am still pissed off, but they apparently had the money available and they had months to get in the targets they wanted. Instead they spent the majority of their money within a week of stones being sold and waited until the last day to do the rest of their business and got burned. This says to me either the money isn't there and/or the management team is still inept.
Hope I'm right and not You mate, We all want the best for the club in the end [well most of us, some lads on here make me doubt it ].

We were way way too slow to dispose of Martinez.
Not only prevented a possible cup win but had a knock on effect that delayed the whole summer planning.

Also BK no longer has a place negotiating deals. That should have been a thing of the past.

Koeman told the board to wait until the pre season was over before buying so he could assess everyone. martinez can take the blame for a lot of things, but not this window.

lol

there is your lack of ambition showed by the club.

So what do we do when we want to get better? Still accommodate these players despite them not being good enough? Is this why we boguht from crap teams so the first team players already didn't lose their place?

they didnt flog off their best asset to raise funds though.

Ohh so now the tune is changed. I don't think we had a choice with Stones, do you? If were flogging our assets then Rom would be in West London and Ross probably tucked up in Manchester at the moment.

Don't alk utter tosh, you said the RS have spent more than us, they haven't; they recouped more.
