Something has clearly gone wrong here. The club has allowed itself to be dragged along like a dog on a chain by player after player for what essentially amounts to one of the worst transfer windows I've seen. I mean we were bidding £30m for a relegated cast-off ffs. I'm not upset we didn't get Sissoko, I'm upset we were ever in a position to be legitimately in for him and that we ultimately exposed ourselves to be humiliated so thoroughly.

More than anything, I'm embarrassed for our club right now.

So sissoko and valencia on loan...could be worse. Valencia can be decent and is better than kone. Don't think Koeman will let Sissoko mail it in like he did at the barcodes. Underwhelming to say the least but hardly a disaster
