Koeman seems to be wanting to play more with pace and presence up top. You're still acting like we're playing under RM where a playmaker was vital.

Alternatively, bringing a player like Brahimi in - combined with the players we already have - gives us loads of options up top and in turn provides more space for Barkley - who is more than capable of being a playmaker.

Let's not get 'tunnel' vision, ey? IF Koeman wants to bring in a player it's because they'll suit how HE wants to play, not us.

Brahimi is in no way shape or form a playmaker mate, he's an explosive winger - a more proven version of Bolasie with better end product

Sissoko provides pace and power when he cba showing up - which is about 5 games a season, want proof of that - see how Newcastel fans 'rate' him and there opinion on how mcuh he was to blame for there lack of any fight last season (and previous ones)

That is my impression too. I'm not keen on Sissoko.
