Thanks

This is what I think will happen tomorrow. I think Koeman will have identified certain areas he wants to strengthen, obviously.
Him and the Walshy will have identified certain players, we've been quotes silly prices, so they've thought, fcuk it, lets wait until deadline day and then we'll get them for what they're really worth.

I refuse to fume but I am slightly concerned. I might fume tomorrow at 11pm mind you.

You will be more happy than fuming IMO

Mata, witsle, courvahlio, emery ect...all started by the esk! Oh and who can forget mouriniho ffs!! Again the esk I even think the 100m spending was from the esk!

Gibson signing, stek, bolasie, gana not from the esk at all!

So we Defo getting at least 4 top notch players in tomorrow! Lol

@theesk you've been played by someone this year and you sucked it up like a towie wanna be!!

I called Bolasie

Lots of reasons - one being that several targets turned us down. Not because of us not bidding enough, or not offering enough wages, just the player didn't fancy the move. Currently a problem is that most clubs aren't desperate enough to sell their best player unless they can get a decent replacement - which is what's stopping the Gabbiadini and Kone moves for example. If the right players are available and want to come, could we spend £50m or more tomorrow ? Of course we could.

I still think we will get Kone. I don't see us giving up easily if he is the prime CB target.

I understand we want top quality players but let's be honest... This is a process. After last year, the likes of Wistel isn't coming here. We are a better club under Koeman and I feel optimistic for the future.

If we don't sign a reasonably good striker tomorrow then i will be flabbergasted.....

To think that after everything that has changed we will enter the season one injury away from Kone (or Niasse - he is still here) leading the line is shocking. Del is not a week in/week out striker.

Heck - Kone has played in our last two matches.

I've not abandoned all hope, nor am i losing my head (yet), but i never really thought we would find ourselves quite where we are either - having left such critical business to the bitter end when we know how screwy deadline day can be.

Here's hoping for 2 quality, first team caliber players in tomorrow.

the manager from zenit even admitted that we placed a solid bid for Witsel. He just didn't reciprocate. I mean i'm not exactly thrilled with the overall success of our transfer activity , but the legion of doom could at least see slight improvements over previous years and kinda relax on the venom at least for a day or so .

Im sorry but saying we placed a bid in for him and its an improvement on recent years is pure poppycock

have you not seen the bids\purchases from clubs such as Crystal Palace, WBA, Stoke, West Ham.

What was a £5m player has become a £15m player over night

A couple of years back, yes bidding £18m unsuccessfully for a player would be exciting.... Now, not so
